Your support helps produce an assortment of programs and experiences that allow crafting artists to grow their business, create a growing network of peers and revive their love of handmade.
The glittery chapter of our story is ending after 19 years of making and crafting in Columbus, Ohio.
As we host our last marketplace on Sunday, December 1st we are seeking the support of reinventing the creative wheel one last time in an effort to reduce the vending fee of our crafting artists to just $10.00.
Our fundraising goal of $20,000 is to cover the event fees by our friends, fans, shoppers and craft community.
We have staggered tiers of meeting our goals which helps reduce the exhibitor fees for the juried artists joining us.
History of selling at a craft show:
Application Fees: Artists submit their application of $10, as a non-refundable fee. This enters them into an application pool which is then juried. The fees help offset business expenses like storage units, mailing lists fees and general administration costs that our non-profits maintains to run the business.
Exhibitor fees: If juried into the marketplace, exhibitors cover a table fee of $275.00. These provide a table for them to set-up and sell their handmade goods. The fees generated also cover the venue fees, food and marketing to produce the marketplace. MCC is a volunteer based non-profit, meaning organizers do not get paid for this labor.

Discounts for accepted vendors start after we raise our first goal of $2,500.00, Midwest Craft Con will continue to reduce the cost of the exhibiting fee for artists.
FUNDRAISING LEVELS
- $2,500.00 raised = $5 off vendor table or $270.00 fee to sell
- $5,000.00 raised = $25 off vendor table or $250.00
- $10,000.00 raised = $100 off vendor table $175.00
- $15,000.00 raised = $150 off vendor table or $125.00
- $20,000 raised = $275 off vendor table, minus their one time application fee of $10.00.
